Jamie Bell and Anthony Mackie are both in talks to star alongside Sam Worthington in cop drama Man On A Ledge.

Directed by Asger Leth, whose sole previous credit is documentary Ghosts Of Cité Soleil, the plot follows a former NYPD officer (Worthington) who threatens to throw himself off the top of a building.

It’s based on a script by TV movie writer Pablo Fenjves, and Transformers producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura is backing the production.

No word on which roles Bell and Mackie are in negotiation to play, though we imagine they might be new NYPD recruits.

Mackie has recently finished up work on sci-fis The Adjustment Bureau and Real Steel, while Bell will next be seen in Jane Eyre, and has been working on The Adventures Of Tintin.

Unbreakable 2 may never see the light of day according to M. Night Shyamalan – because he’s “cannibalised” ideas he had for the super sequel and used them in the next instalment of his Night Chronicles movies.

The first movie he’s produced under the banner The Night Chronicles, Devil, opens on 17 September. And while out on the publicity trail, Shyamalan revealed that he’ll be using a villain he originally dreamed up for Unbreakable 2 in one of the Chronicles movies instead.

“I cannibalised the idea for the sequel to Unbreakable for one of the Night Chronicles,” he says. “It was such a cool idea for a villain, and it was actually originally in the script for Unbreakable, and it was too much.

“There were too many villains, so I pulled this villain out and was like, ‘I’ll make this the second flick.’”

This villain will apparently be used in the film Twelve Strangers instead, which will be the second movie in the Night Chronicles.

Considering Night’s track record of late (The Last Airbender is the worst-reviewed film of the year thus far), fans of the brilliant first Unbreakable are surely sighing with relief that their favourite movie won’t be dragged down by a sequel.

Check out a video of Shyamalan’s interview below…

He’ll be back on the field for the <noindex>Pittsburgh Steelers</noindex> two games earlier
than expected after convincing NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell he is turning his
life around.

The star quarterback, accompanied by team president Art Rooney, met with
Goodell early Friday and was told he could return on Oct. 17 against Cleveland
after missing four games.

He was suspended in April for six games for violating the league’s personal
conduct policy, but Goodell said at the time he would review the player’s
behavior over the next few months. Goodell was satisfied that Roethlisberger has
followed the league’s guidelines and stayed out of trouble.

“You have told me and the Steelers that you are committed to making better
decisions,” Goodell said in a letter to the two-time Super Bowl winner. “Your
actions over the past several months have been consistent with that promise and
you must continue to honor that commitment.”

Roethlisberger was accused of sexually assaulting a Georgia college student
following a night of drinking in a Milledgeville, Ga., bar on March 5. He was
not charged by Georgia authorities.

The league said the “reinstatement is contingent on Roethlisberger
continuing to adhere to the program established by our advisors and avoiding any
further violations of the personal conduct policy.”

Roethlisberger is the first player suspended by Goodell under the NFL’s
personal conduct policy who was not arrested, charged with or convicted of a
crime. However, Goodell said in April the policy allows him to impose such a
penalty when the league’s integrity and reputation are at stake.

“I have learned a lot over the past several months about myself as a
person,” Roethlisberger said in a statement. “I am committed to continuing on
this path of being the type of person my family raised me to be, and exceeding
what is expected of me as the quarterback of the Pittsburgh Steelers.”

Rooney and Roethlisberger met with Goodell at an undisclosed location in New
Jersey. Rooney and his organization have kept in frequent contact with the
commissioner while Roethlisberger underwent extensive evaluations.

“Ben has done a good job this summer of growing as the person that he needs
to be, both on and off the field,” Rooney said. “I am confident that Ben is
committed to continuing in this positive direction. As a team, our focus is now
on preparing for the regular season and getting off to a good start on opening
weekend.”

Roethlisberger also is being sued in Nevada by a woman who says he sexually
assaulted her there in 2008. No charges were brought in that case, and it did
not figure in the NFL’s suspension.

While he is out, Roethlisberger can’t practice with the Steelers, nor can he
attend games or represent the team in any way, or have contact with any member
of the coaching staff or football operations personnel.

Considering the team’s dire situation at his position, the reduced
suspension was about the best news the Steelers could have received. Hours
earlier, Roethlisberger’s replacement, <noindex>Byron Leftwich</noindex><noindex>(notes)</noindex>, hurt his left knee in the
final preseason game.

Roethlisberger will be eligible to return to practice on Oct. 4 and play on
Oct. 17 after Pittsburgh’s bye week. Depending on the extent of Leftwich’s
injury, Pittsburgh could be down to <noindex>Dennis Dixon</noindex><noindex>(notes)</noindex> and veteran <noindex>Charlie Batch</noindex><noindex>(notes)</noindex>, and
might need to add another quarterback.

Pittsburgh hosts Atlanta, plays at Tennessee and Tampa Bay and then hosts
division rival Baltimore before an Oct. 10 bye.

Roethlisberger and Goodell met last month at the team’s training camp in
Latrobe, Pa. At that time, Goodell said he was encouraged by the progress
Roethlisberger was making and promised to make his decision on the length of the
suspension before the regular season began.

He kept his word; the season begins on Thursday.

Roethlisberger plans to work with a California-based quarterbacks coach,
George Whitfield, and he’ll throw to some free-agent receivers who are looking
for work in the league.

AP Sports Writer Alan Robinson in Pittsburgh contributed to this story.

Investigators from the North Carolina Secretary of State’s office have
subpoenaed Tar Heels defensive tackle Marvin Austin, a person familiar with the
situation said Friday.

The person spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity because
the investigation is ongoing. Austin is one of 13 players who did not travel
with the 18th-ranked Tar Heels to Atlanta for Saturday’s opener against No. 21
LSU because of an NCAA probe.

Secretary of State Elaine Marshall’s office is reviewing whether North
Carolina’s sports agents laws have been broken in the wake of the NCAA
investigation into the school’s football program.

The NCAA probe initially focused on whether Austin and receiver Greg Little
got improper benefits from agents and has now expanded to possible academic
violations.

George Jeter, a spokesman for the Secretary of State’s office, declined to
comment on the subpoena.

“All I can say is it’s an active, ongoing inquiry at this time,” he said.

Earlier Friday, the school said it had declared Austin, defensive ends
Robert Quinn and Michael McAdoo, cornerbacks Kendric Burney and cornerback
Charles Brown, and receiver Greg Little ineligible “for violating school and/or
NCAA rules.”

Another six players—top tailbacks Shaun Draughn and Ryan Houston; safeties
Brian Gupton, Da’Norris Searcy and Jonathan Smith; and defensive end Linwan
Euwell—are being held out of the game during the investigation.

North Carolina also said three other players—linebackers Quan Sturdivant
and Bruce Carter, and safety Deunta Williams—didn’t travel with the team as
the school conferred with the NCAA on their status. Sturdivant and Carter were
later cleared and were traveling to Atlanta on Friday night. However, Williams
remains sidelined because the NCAA wanted more information before ruling on his
status.

The news means the Tar Heels will be without at least six starters from a
defense that ranked among the nation’s best last season, including their entire
secondary.

“We are disappointed the players’ choices have denied them the opportunity
to compete alongside their teammates and represent the University of North
Carolina,” coach Butch Davis said in a statement. “Our coaches and players
have a tremendous challenge this weekend, and despite these circumstances, our
team will be excited to face LSU.”

It’s unclear how many games Quinn, McAdoo, Burney, Brown, Little and Austin
will miss. The announcement is a massive blow for a program that entered Davis’
fourth season in position to contend for an Atlantic Coast Conference
championship.

The optimism had been building since January, when Austin, Little, Burney,
Sturdivant, Carter and Williams all announced they would return to school for
their senior seasons instead of entering the NFL draft.

Little is the team’s top receiver, while the rest of that group joined Quinn
— a junior widely considered to be a high first-round pick—on a defense that
returned nine starters from a unit that ranked among the nation’s best last
season.

Davis had suspended Austin indefinitely for violating team rules Wednesday.

“We are still working with the NCAA staff to resolve these eligibility
issues,” athletic director Dick Baddour said in a statement. “The NCAA is
focusing on each of their situations on a case-by-case basis. Together we are
working to determine their status in as thorough and fair a process as is
possible.”

There have been similar agent-related NCAA investigations at Alabama,
Georgia and South Carolina, with links to a South Beach party attended by
players from several schools earlier this year. The Gamecocks have suspended
tight end Weslye Saunders for violating unrelated team rules while Crimson Tide
defensive end Marcell Dareus has been declared ineligible for two games for
accepting nearly $2,000 in improper benefits during two Miami trips.

North Carolina is one of 42 states and the federal government that has laws
governing contact between sports agents and amateur college athletes. The state
requires agents to register and prohibits them from offering gifts before a
contract is signed. Violations can lead to criminal or civil penalties.

In July, Marshall’s office sent a letter to the more than 100 agents
registered with the state notifying them of the investigation and instructing
them not to destroy records. She said then that her office can’t punish
athletes, but planned to talk to them about their conduct and interaction with
agents.

Since the first confirmed detection of an exoplanet orbiting a main-sequence star was made in 1995, over 490 such planets have now been detected. As technology advances at an alarming rate, new discoveries and a greater understanding of our universe grows almost daily.

Back in 2008, the first multi-planet system of extrasolar planets was imaged. Using the Keck Observatory, scientists are now able to not only image these far flung planets but also obtain detailed analysis of these planets, their structure and chemical composition.

One such extrasolar planet is HR 8799 b that orbits a young star 130 light years from Earth with 2 other companion planets in the constellation Pegasus. Experts say that the properties of this world’s atmosphere can’t be explained by current theoretical models as it is far warmer and has much more cloud than it should have at the distance it orbits its host star.

Another interesting body that has the scientific world buzzing is one of Saturn’s moons, Titan. Although Titan is classified as a moon, it is bigger than the planets Mercury and Pluto.

With its orange atmosphere, Titan in some ways resembles an early Earth, with thick clouds, winds and lightning. During the 2004 descent through Titan’s atmosphere, the Huygens Probe imaged surface features that included mountains, lakes, rivers and oceans of methane, plus indications that Titan’s surface had been shaped by weather as on Earth.

Although the study of these far away worlds is gaining pace by the day, the greatest hurdle to visiting far away planets remains distance. With conventional rocket technology, even our nearest star, Proxima Centauri at around 4.3 light years would take around 75,000 years to reach.

With this is mind, even the most astute weather forecasters would have trouble predicting if it’s going to be fine or cloudy when mankind eventually sets out to visit newly discovered worlds.

The Real Love Story of Zaynab and Abul-Aas

Zaynab was the oldest Muhammad’s daughter

Zaynab and Abul-Aas were cousins.

Abul-Aas went to Muhammad and said to him: I want to marry Zaynab.

Muhammad said to him: I have to take her permission first.

Muhammad went to Zaynab and said: O my daughter, your cousin Abul-Aas wants to marry you, would you like him to be your husband?

Zaynab’s face became shyly red; she smiled and said nothing.

Muhammad knew her answer; he smiled too and went out.

Abul-Aas married Zaynab; and a powerful love story began.

This marriage happened before Muhammad Prophethood.

They were very happily married and Zaynab gave birth to two children.

At this time, the Arabs were idolaters; they used to worship many statues made of stones.

Then all of a sudden, something unique happened.

Zaynab’s father announced that he is the last Prophet sent by Allah.

Muhammad’s wife Khadija, all of his daughters including Zaynab and his cousin Ali believed in him and embraced Islam without any hesitation; because they knew that Muhammad never ever said but the truth.

Then a serious problem began between the two happily married couple.

Abul-Aas was traveling, and when he returned back home, the leaders of his tribe (his father was one of them) met him and told him that his wife Zaynab belied their gods and she changed her religion and they warned him not to follow her; because it is shameful for a man to follow a woman. A man of his tribe screamed at him: Divorce her; she was contaminated with a mental disorder and a disgrace to the tribe.

Upon entering his house, Zaynab met him smiling as usual and said to him:

I have great news for you.

Very sad looking, he kept silent.

Zaynab was amazed, why he is sad.

She said to him: my father is the last prophet sent by God; I believed in him and became a Muslim and so did my mother and my sisters and…

Abul-Aas interrupted her and said: why you did not tell me that you are going to change your faith?

She said: you know my father, was he a liar? Are not your people used to call him the honest and trustworthy man? Also, I am not alone. I have my mother, your aunt, embraced Islam and so did my sisters. Also my cousin Ali and….. (She mentioned some names of his relatives and friends) followed my father too.

He said: I know your father, he is not a liar, and he is not accused. But I do not like people to say that I belied my tribe and left my gods because of a woman. I am not going to change the faith of my forefathers. Do you understand my reason?

She said: certainly I do; you are not obliged to follow my faith although I wish you do. I will always be your sincere wife forever; I will stand beside you and will help you trustfully for all of my life.

Abul-Aas kept his faith.

Zaynab kept her faith and observed Islam.

And they both tolerated their faith’s contradiction and lived together as a happily married couple.

The Religious boycott

The pagans of Mecca boycotted the Muslims from engaging in any contracts with their non-Muslim tribes. For three years the early Muslims lost their wealth to the non-Muslims as they were unable to trade. Their health deteriorated as they were unable to purchase sustenance. They became outcasts of society, traitors to the proud pagan way.

By the time the ban was over, there was little time for Zaynab to rejoice.

Her beloved mother passed away

The Migration

The pagans of Mecca increased their violence against the Muslims day by day, and it was unbearable for the Muslims to live in Mecca under the pagans’ transgression and extreme violence.

The Prophet Muhammad ordered the Muslims to leave Mecca and to escape and immigrate to Al-Madina which is about 400 kilometers at the North of Mecca.

Upon hearing that, Zaynab went to her father and said: “O Messenger of Allah, Will you allow me to stay with my husband.”

The Prophet said: Stay with your husband and your children.

Zaynab stayed in Mecca with her family.

Another big emotional Problem

Then the Battle of Badr happened between the Muslims and the pagans of Mecca.

Abul-Aas decided to go with his tribe to fight the Muslims.

Zaynab was afraid and sad.

The result of the war, whatever it is, will be sad for her.

Her husband is against her father!

She kept crying and praying: O Allah, please do not let the outcome of this war hurting me! I am afraid of a day I lose my father or my children will be orphans!

Although the pagan Arabs were some1000 soldiers and the Muslims were some 300; however, the Muslims won the war.

Muslims captured Abul-Aas; he was one among many of the captives.

The Battle of Badr is over

Muhammad put all the captives in a prison; he treated all of them kindly and sent a message to Mecca that he would release the captives for ransoms.

Looking eagerly for the news of the war, Zaynab asked: what about my father?

They said: he won the war.

Zaynab thanked Allah from her heart, she was hiding her feeling because the people around her, the pagans, were hurt because of the war, many of them lost their fathers, brothers, relatives or friends or they had them captives and need ransoms for their release.

Zaynab then asked: what about Abul-Aas?

They said: he is a captive, send a ransom to the Muslims to release him.

Zaynab had nothing more valuable than her necklace.

The story of her blessed necklace

In her wedding, Khadija, her rich mother, gave her a great present. It was a valuable necklace. When Zaynab took off her necklace to give it to her husband’s brother, she remembered her died mother and her wedding!

She said to her brother in law: go give them my necklace to release Abul-Aas.

The Prophet was sitting collecting the ransoms and the prisoners were released one by one.

Then the Prophet saw the necklace.

The Prophet paled, this necklace belonged to his beloved wife, Khadija. The Prophet remembered the day she had given it to Zaynab.

He remembered his died wife, Khadija, and how was she very happy at the wedding of Zaynab.

The Prophet said: for who is this ransom?

They said: for Abul-Aas

The Prophet kept silent, his eyes were tearing, he was thinking about his daughter, Zaynab, and how much she suffered because of her faith.

The Muslims said: O Messenger of Allah! What is the matter?

The Prophet said: this necklace is my daughter wedding gift, I know what it represents for her, and it is the memorization of her beloved mother. She sent it as a ransom for her husband who is an honest man; he loves her, takes care of her and is very kind to her.

The Prophet then said: if you people want to take the necklace and release Abul-Aas, it is up to you. If you release Abul-Aas and send the necklace to her, it is up to you. O people! What do you think?

The Prophet’s companions said: O Messenger of Allah! We release Abul-Aas and send with him the necklace of your beloved daughter.

The Prophet Muhammad smiled, his eyes were tearing and he thanked his followers.

The freedom and Separation

The Prophet Muhammad said to Abul-Aas: here is Zaynab necklace, give it to her and tell her to keep her mother gift and never give it away again.

The Prophet spoke gently with Abul-Aas, to free Zaynab from her marriage, as by then, a revelation directed that she could no longer be married to a non-Muslim man:

”O Abul-Aas, Allah has revealed unto me that the marriage of a Muslim woman and a non Muslim man is unlawful. Would you let her to come here?”

Abul-Aas said: yes.

On the other hand, Zaynab knew that Abul-Aas is on his way to Mecca; she was very happy to see him again.

She said to him: Thanks to Allah to see you and to have you again; I have news for you, I am pregnant!

He was very sad. He told her what the Prophet said to him.

She said: then I will go to my father

He said: Yes, I promised him

She said: can not you change your faith and come with me

He was nervous and said: No

Her departure was heartbreaking.

As she left for Al-Madina, the men of her husband’s tribe became outraged that a woman of their clan was being transported to the Muslims. They had barely recovered from the vile defeat in Badr.

They mobilized a small troop to stop her from moving to her father. A pagan man galloped viciously and pointed in front of her carriage brandishing a spear upon Zaynab and her young kids. Zaynab fell from her camel and she had abortion of the baby that was budding within her.

Her brother-in-law, who was her lead reasoned with the men and turned the carriage to head back to Mecca.

Later on, her brother-in-law transported Zaynab and her kids by night where they safely arrived at Al-Madina to be reunited with her father.

Zaynab was finally able to live her life as a liberated Muslim, attending prayers with her family and working towards the betterment of a progressive society.

In Al-Madina, many Muslims wanted to marry her.

But she refused all of them.

Was she still in love with Abul-Aas?

The Second Reunion

After 6 years

The Muslims were instructed to sabotage trade caravans from Mecca that were travelling past Al-Madina. A caravan returning from Syria was captured. The merchandise and employees were captured; however, one man, among the captives escaped.

He made his way carefully to Al-Madina in the middle of the night, and there, He asked where the home of Zaynab is.

He knocked on the door. Zaynab let him in.

In all of his despair, he knew he could trust her.

She was very happy to see him again.

She thought that he finally embraced Islam and came to marry her and live with her.

He told her that he was troubled by the confiscation of many goods that were held in his trust as a result from barter trades in Syria. The people of Mecca trusted him and he needed to return the goods to their purchasers. He also feared for his safety.

She said: anyway you are welcome as the father of my kids. You are welcome as my cousin. Do not be afraid, I will protect you. Sit here and I will be back.

Zaynab left quietly for dawn prayers with her family members. She stood amongst the female congregation, in the front row, with her sisters. As she saw her father with a congregation of men, Zaynab waited for a moment of silence and cried out with all her heart, “O people, I give protection to Abul-Aas.”

In respect to her situation, that she is no longer his wife, her father hurried over to Zaynab. She repeated her message to the Prophet and he calmly reminded her “Receive him with all honor, but let him not come to you as a husband, for you are not his by law.”

The Prophet Muhammad then turned to his followers and beseeched them to have mercy upon his former son-in-law who was also his late wife’s nephew.

On the way to Mecca

Abul-Aas took back the goods that he possessed. Then he went to Mecca.

On his way to Mecca Abul-Aas said to himself:

What I am doing? For how long I will be stubborn? I know that Muhammad is trustful; for how long I will worship statues made of stones? Etc.

After returning the goods to Mecca, Abul-Aas said to the pagans of Mecca: Am I a debtor to anyone? They said: No

He said: then I want to tell you that I am a witness that there no god but Allah and Muhammad is his Messenger; I embraced Islam!

Abul-Aas made his way back to Al-Madina

He went directly to the Prophet Muhammad and said:

O Messenger of Allah! Now I am a Muslim.

The Prophet Muhammad was very happy to hear that.

Then Abul-Aas said: Would you allow me to have Zaynab again as a wife?

The Prophet Muhammad said to him: I have to take her permission first.

And Muhammad went to Zaynab and said to her: O my daughter, Abul-Aas wants to marry you.

Zaynab’s face became shyly red; she smiled and said nothing.

Muhammad knew her answer; he smiled too and went out.

They married and live together again.

They were an example of a very happily married couple.

Then one year later, Zaynab died.

The Prophet said at the time of her death: “She was my best daughter for she has suffered much in the path of Allah.”

For every moment after her death, Abul-Aas missed her a lot, and then he died after her death by one year.

She patented her invention “Cataract Laserphaco Probe” in 1988 which uses laser power to remove cataract from patient’s eyes replacing the earlier method using a drill like device. She also has another invention to her credit which enabled people who were blind for a long period of time to be able to see again.

Miriam Benjamin, a teacher in Washington D.C was the second African American woman to receive a patent. Miriam Benjamin received a patent in 1888 for her invention she called ‘Gong and Signal Chair’. It allowed customers in restaurants to call the waiter from where they were sitting. There is a button on the chair when pressed signals the waiters’ station and also light up an indicator from where it was signaled. Her invention was even used in the United States House of Representatives.

While researching on monomolecular coatings Katherine Blodgett’s made an amazing discovery in the form of a way to apply the coatings to glass and metal layer by layer. She had found that the thin films when layered to attain a certain thickness completely cancelled the reflection from the underneath surface, resulting in a totally transparent or invisible glass. She has patented the film as well as the process and both have been widely used in many devices such as microscopes, telescopes, camera, and projector lenses and also for limiting distortion in eye glasses. Katherine Blodgett carried on her research and also invented gauge for measuring the thickness of glass films. She was achieved many honors including Photographic Society of America Award and Francis P. Garvin Medal by American Chemical Society.

Bessie Blount, while working as a physical therapist with injured soldiers of World War saw the struggle by the amputees even to have food. This inspired her to invent a device which helps soldiers to feed on their own. She patented her device in 1951. She invented device which is electrically controlled to deliver food to the patient only mouthful at a time. She went on to find another device which can be worn around the neck of the patient. As she didn’t receive enough support from United States Veteran’s Administration or were able to market it herself, she gave up the rights to French Government in 1952.

Dianne Croteau along with her partners, Richard Brault and Jonathan Vinden invented Actar 911, a mannequin designed to teach CPR or Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation technique. She patented it in 1989. Virginia Apgar, an American doctor invented Apgar tests which was used to evaluate the new born baby’s health. She had invented it in 1952 and even now the doctors are using Apgar scores to assess the health of the baby.

Josephine Cochran, a rich woman who conducted many dinner parties looking for a faster way to clean the dishes without breaking it invented the first ever practical dish washer back in 1886.She patented her design and also started producing them through a company which later became the home appliance company KitchenAid. Women inventors went a long way to fulfill goals and enable dreams to be set to reality.

The Government Wants You to Reduce Your Taxes

It is true! The tax laws are written to reduce your taxes, not to increase them. In the U.S., for example, there are over 5,800 pages of tax law. Only about 30 pages are devoted to raising taxes. This leaves over 5,700 pages that are devoted entirely to reducing your taxes.

This means 99.5% of the tax code exists solely for the purpose of saving you money.

I even go as far to say it is actually your patriotic duty to reduce your taxes by all legal means. Many people think I am kidding when I share this, but I am not!

Think about it this way. If 99.5% of the tax law is written to help you reduce your taxes, then the government must really want you to do just that. Otherwise, why would they enact so much legislation aimed at helping you do so?

All of the so-called complexity of the tax law is really just aimed at reducing your taxes, not increasing them.

When I share this concept with others, they usually find it interesting, which is great – but I really want them (and you) to think about this concept and how to apply it to their personal situation.

Once you truly believe that the government wants you to reduce your taxes, you will realize that you have the right to reduce your taxes every minute of every day. All you have to do is learn the rules.

Now, I enjoy reading the tax code and learning the tax rules. Most people don’t find this enjoyable though. This is where your wealth team can help. The tax rules can be easy to understand, if you have the right tax advisor on your team.

Here are a few cautions to consider when you are identifying the right tax advisor for your wealth team.

Just because someone is a licensed CPA, or licensed accountant, does not mean they understand taxes. Some accountants never deal with taxes at all.

Just because someone prepares tax returns does not mean it is safe to assume they understand the tax law well enough to make the rules understandable.

It is key to have a tax advisor on your team who understands what it is the government wants you to do in order to reduce your taxes and, more importantly, is able to put those rules into terms you understand.

It’s a tough time for anyone within the financial sector – even for those who are thinking of retiring soon and want to fall back on their 401k. However, Tim Phillips (Oregon based businessman) is urging people who have a large portion of equity tied up in investments and their 401k to maintain calm whilst in the throes of the current economic climate. Tim Phillips, Oregon CEO of Phillips and Company has stated that it is best for those worried about potential catastrophic financial undoing to stay the course – he has likened the current economic climate to the problems faced by the Catholic Church because of a few unruly priests. The institution remains strong despite the wrong doings of a few bad eggs.

To truly believe and understand this point of view, it is worth taking note of Tim Phillips Oregon based companies portfolio. Recently, Tim Phillips Oregon based company has taken over the responsibility of getting Signature Northwest (retail grocery chain) employees interested in participating in their own 401k schemes to better suit the individual and company that employees them. <noindex>Tim Phillips Oregon</noindex> based company is one of the largest investment firms in Oregon and has over 8,000 clients nationwide – so when he makes a statement regarding the volatility of the current economic climate but reassures the listener that all is not lost, the advice is worth taking into account. Tim Phillips Oregon based company works across a wide spectrum of financial services.

Many investors start freaking out and all together stop investing during volatile times – Tim Phillips Oregon based consortium believes that this is a grave error on the part of the investor. Sure, some companies or investments will go down and will never come back up; investments in general are not without their fair share of risk and in this regard taking a chance on something that is too cheap to pass up may be the best option as it both strengthens the investment and also enables the economy to bounce back (albeit slightly) because there is more money flowing – this in turn leads to a better economic climate all round and gives your investment the opportunity to thrive. Tim Phillips Oregon based company recommends that you become a confident investor by investing even when the market seems to be subsiding.

<noindex>Tim Phillips Oregon</noindex> based company; Phillips and Company have taken steps to ensure that their clients are well protected against the current economic downturn and are poised to get back into a profitable position when the economy bounces back into full force. Tim Phillips Oregon based company also points to periods of relative economic inactivity and slumps in the past that have resulted in a large increase or spike in profitability when the economy has bounced back from the throes of potentially massive inflation. Tim Phillips Oregon based company has recommended that now is not the time to shy away from the investment market – however, it is a good time to be a little more wary of the investments that you make. Not every investment or company will come through the global economic crisis unscathed.
